Careers at Barden & Barden

DO YOU WANT TO WORK WITH A TEAM FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE?

That is what we do, every day, helping real people resolve serious legal issues involving serious injuries or illegal employment practices. If you want to challenge yourself, take pride in what you do for a living, and work at one of the top plaintiff's personal injury and employment law firms in Washington, continue reading. We are a team of high achievers who advance Barden & Barden's mission of producing the best possible result for every client. To produce these results, Barden & Barden demands excellence and accountability from every team member in fulfilling their functional job roles.

We are looking for people who are:

  • Committed: Are you all in serving the firm and its clients?
  • Resilience: Are you willing to do whatever it takes to succeed?
  • Ownership: Are you able to function autonomously to get the job done right?
  • Constant Improvement: Are you hungry to learn better ways of doing things?

Team members who are successful at our firm have the following characteristics:

  • Intelligent learners who consistently perform job tasks efficiently and correctly
  • Are able to quickly adapt to new processes and technology
  • Know that professional development results primarily from personal accountability
  • Drives work performance and results without ego, drama, or excuses
  • Recognizes that their value to the firm is dependent on the value they provide to other team members and clients

Our hiring process is lengthy and highly selective by intention. We only hire a new employee when our team is able to devote the time and resources to proper training and development. Every new employee is expected to start contributing immediately by learning and executing on their specific functional job roles. Unlike many traditional law firms, we don't put employees into boxes that limit their career potential. Our firm is not structured on the partner-associate-staff model, where employees are treated differently depending on what group they fall into. Instead, we structure our firm based on functional roles--each role being equally critical to the success of the firm and our clients.

Our office is located on the beautiful South Hill in Spokane, Washington in a 130 year-old Victorian house. Next door to us is the Chrysalis art gallery. Across the street is a Huckleberry's natural food market, Ace hardware store, and women's clothing boutique. We are less than five minutes to downtown Spokane and the courthouses.

In addition to market rate pay, we offer a competitive benefits package including a group health plan, 401k with employer matching, and paid time off.
