Our client was a temporary worker who was stationed in a company's plant that laminated sheets of compressed wood. Unknown to our client, the company saved time and money by not installing safety mechanisms near the rollers of the large laminating machine. Because the safety mechanisms were not installed, our client's arm was sucked into the machine's rollers and his arm was degloved. Our client's initial attorney did not recognize that a claim could be made against the company whose neglect caused the injury.
